Youth Theatre Camp 2026 registration deadline is Monday, June 22, 2026.
However, camp tends to fill up before the deadline, so please plan accordingly.
Camp Information

Performance is Friday July 17 at 7:00 PM at The Arts Center.
AACA’s annual Youth Theatre Camp for ages 11 - 17 is an area favorite. Campers enjoy two weeks of classes in acting, improvisation, stage combat, music, movement, and stage craft with directors Bob Borwick, Kelly Borwick, and Pam Thigpen. The camp ends with a performance of "Wnderful," based on a short story by James Thurber, with music and lyrics by Pam Thigpen, Kelly Borwick, and Bob Borwick on Friday, July 17 at 7:00 PM.
All supplies are furnished, and campers are asked to bring their own lunch each day. Camp is held at The Arts Center from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, ending with a performance on Friday, July 17 at 7:00 PM at The Arts Center.
Pick-up is at 3:00 PM each day. Please do not drop off your children more than ten minutes before camp and arrive promptly at the end of the camp day for pickup.
*Registration is not complete without payment. There is a transaction fee for online payment. As with all tickets and registrations; no refunds, no exchanges. Limited full and partial need-based scholarships are available.
**Students who are 11 years old or older as of July 31 are eligible for camp.

Step 2 After payment, you will receive a confirmation email for your registration purchase. The email includes a link to the registration form that must be filled out by all campers. Please fill that out and your registration is complete!
Scholarships
Limited full and partial need-based scholarships are available. To receive a scholarship application, please email artsed@athensartscouncil.org, visit The Arts Center at 320 N White St, or call 423-745-8781 to request a scholarship application. The deadline for scholarship applications is June 15. All scholarships are given on a first come, first received basis. Scholarships will not be considered until fully completed form is received by AACA staff.
