Kids Arts Camps 2026 registration deadlines are Monday, May 18 (week 1) and May 25 (week 2).

However, camps tends to fill up before the deadline, so please plan accordingly.

Camp Information

Camp day is 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at The Arts Center

AACA’s 29th annual arts camp for grades K-6 is for students who will have completed the grade in the 2025-26 school year. There are daily classes in art, music, drama, and dance. The beloved summer camp led by Kay Frank and Lisa Sharp is a great introduction to the arts in a week full of fun for newbies and practiced performers alike.

All supplies are furnished, and campers are asked to bring their own lunch each day. Both weeks of camp are held at The Arts Center 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Monday - Friday, ending with a performance on Friday at 1:00 PM at The Arts Center.

Pick-up is at 2:00 PM each day. Please do not drop off your children more than ten minutes before camp and arrive promptly at the end of the camp day for pickup.

*Must have completed grade in 2025-26 school year.

**Registration is not complete without payment. There is a transaction fee for online payment. As with all tickets and registrations; no refunds, no exchanges. Limited full and partial need-based scholarships are available.

Step 2 After payment, you will receive a confirmation email for your registration purchase. The email includes a link to the registration form that must be filled out by all campers. Please fill that out and your registration is complete!

Scholarships

Limited full and partial need-based scholarships are available. To receive a scholarship application, please email artsed@athensartscouncil.org, visit The Arts Center at 320 N White St, or call 423-745-8781 to request a scholarship application.The deadline for scholarship applications is May 11 for Week 1 and May 18 for Week 2. All scholarships are given on a first come, first received basis. Scholarships will not be considered until fully completed form is received by AACA staff.
