Description

“Intuitive Art Painting” offers a creative and soulful art practice enhanced by centering relaxation methods and the use of multiple art-making media.

Students will use a variety of favorite art media and tools: crayons, markers, pastels, inks, watercolor and acrylic paints including innovative marking tools. We will be using different sizes and types of “substrates” such as paper, canvas & hardboard.

Following a step-by-step process, students will create a unique art piece in each 2 hour session.

The magic of this class comes from exploring your inner landscape in an artful manner and exploring your creativity in a serene and relaxed setting at The Arts Center.

About the Instructor

Lizz Harris has a passion for beautiful things! Especially for those made by hand, that reflect nature, and have evolved from a wonderful design, timeless technique and 21st century arts technology. Lizz always wants to have a light-hearted & positive experience in life. In the 25+ years of her career as an art teacher she has been able to explore many expressions of art and craft. Lizz started with teaching at Englewood TN's elementary school, K- 8th graders.
