SHOW DATES
February 19 - March 1, 2026

Ages 8+

Directed by Melonie Carideo
Music Directed by Ellen Kimball

We need a large cast including a strong adult ensemble, who will perform multiple characters, along with a dozen tough and talented “orphans”. Annie is a perfect show for those wanting to experience a multigenerational musical. EVERYONE is welcome to audition!

Auditionees should come prepared to sing a solo of their choice of any style or genre. There will be an accompanist for sheet music and a speaker for a recorded track, so bring whichever is most comfortable.

It’s very important that auditionees know the song they will perform well. This will be a competitive audition, so put your best foot forward!

All auditionees should also bring or wear comfortable shoes for a movement audition. Some auditionees will be asked to do a cold read from the script.

Child auditionees with a special talent (tumbling, juggling, standing on your head, etc.) should come prepared to share with the director!

Anyone who wants to help with the production in any capacity should attend auditions.

For those selected, callbacks will be Tuesday, November 11, at 6:00 PM.

Everyone interested in being a part of the show will need to bring work, school, and family schedules for November 11, 2025 - March 2, 2026.

A special note for parents of minor children: parents must accompany their child into auditions and fill out the form (unless the form is filled out ahead of time). There are permissions and responsibilities that only parents are allowed to respond to.

ABOUT THE MUSICAL

Based on the popular comic strip by Harold Gray, Annie has become a worldwide phenomenon and was the winner of seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The beloved book and score by Tony Award winners, Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, features some of the greatest musical theatre hits ever written, including "Tomorrow."

With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone's hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. She is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage that is run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. With the help of the other girls in the Orphanage, Annie escapes to the wondrous world of NYC. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations...and even befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt! She finds a new home and family in billionaire, Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.
