Athens Community Theatre
ACT is the resident theatre company of The Arts Center. Established in 1980, it is the oldest community theatre operating in the tri-county area. ACT produces 2 plays and 1 musical each year in the Sue E. Trotter Theater at The Arts Center. Other programs include monthly play reading gatherings and staged readings. Participants are all volunteer.
Want to check out ACT without the drama of auditions? ACT hosts a play reader the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:30pm*, here at the Arts Center.
