2020 Evening with the Stars will look a little different, but nevertheless we are making it happen!
Evening with the Stars will be released virtually this year via our streaming platform, Patreon. We will record the song segments live at The Arts Center, then edit them together in succession for the final concert video. Auditions will also be held virtually, and we are asking that you submit a video of yourself doing your act for review. AACA’s Andrew Kimball will be directing this year’s Evening with the Stars.
Because of space limitations, unfortunately this year we are only accepting auditions from solo performers and singer/songwriters to perform solo or with the house band and/or piano accompaniment.
We are however accepting up to two performances this year from each performer, so you may record and submit up to two (2) numbers in your audition. The song(s) you submit in an audition are not required to be the same as what you intend on performing, however we do appreciate it if they are.
For timing purposes, we are planning on having a rehearsal with the directors and house band on either Tues. 10/27 or Thurs. 10/29, as well as filming Thurs. 11/5. Both of these will be held at The Arts Center, all socially distanced and with masks unless actively performing.
If you have questions or would like more information about AACA’s COVID-19 precautions, please call staff Monday – Friday from 11am to 4pm at 423-745-8781.
