Arts Gala To Go 2021

For 2021, we will be hosting The Arts Gala “To Go” and asking our supporters to donate the cost of a Gala ticket ($75) to AACA. The “To Go” aspect is a swag bag with AACA merchandise, which ticket holders may pick up at The Arts Center.

We are keenly aware that many businesses, organizations, and individuals have faced unprecedented challenges in the last year. Considering these challenges, as well as the changed patterns of life necessitated by the COVID-19 pandemic, our Board of Directors decided the best course of action is to take a “pause” from an in-person Gala and from any fundraising auction during 2021.

AACA/The Arts Center has been striving to uphold our mission to enrich the quality of life and make a difference for our community this year, even if in different ways. Thanks to the generosity of our members and supporters like you, as well as corporate sponsors, the City of Athens, McMinn County, and granting agencies like Tennessee Arts Commission, Lyndhurst Foundation, and C. Scott & Muriel Mayfield Foundation, we are hopeful that COVID-19 will have no long-term impact on the sustainability of our programs.

Our goal is that AACA’s programming in schools, art classes, theatre and more will resume normal operation well before March 2022, and we hope that we will be able to revive our Arts Gala then.

Pick up “swag bags” at The Arts Center* April 14 – May 7 from 11am to 4pm.

*Please contact us to make alternate arrangements for pickup or shipping, if you live out of town. Pickup dates subject to change due to manufacturing & shipping delays.
