The Blair Boyd Music Scholarship is given in honor of musician and composer, Blair Boyd, who was a member of AACC throughout her youth. Blair has dedicated her life and career to music through composing and teaching. Blair’s parents, Sandra and Mike Boyd, are proud to offer this scholarship to an AACC singer.
Applicants should have completed at least one semester of choir, and have an excellent attendance record (e.g. no unexcused rehearsal or performance absences), a strong work ethic (e.g. positive attitude, focused and respectful of the director and other singers, and learns music timely), and show a high level of musicianship (e.g. tone quality, pitch and rhythm accuracy, and sensitivity to music performance).
