Arts Education for Area Schools

AACA provides performances, workshops, and artist residencies to area schools at little to no cost to schools or families. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis for Athens City and McMinn County schools and resident homeschools. We will open registration to schools outside McMinn County and private schools if spots remain following registration deadline.

Ongoing extracurricular arts education opportunities:

Submit an interest form online and AACA will confirm you registration within ten (10) business days. The next deadline is September 18, for Poetry Alive! Please check each event for respective deadlines.

Travel expenses for AACA programs – or admission to any eligible arts and cultural activity – may be funded by Tennessee Arts Commission’s Student Ticket Subsidy. Applications open August 8 and funds are limitedapply soon.
