Arts In Education for Area Schools

AACA provides performances, workshops, and artist residencies to area schools at no cost to schools or families. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis for Athens City and McMinn County schools and resident homeschools. We will open registration to schools outside McMinn County and private schools if spots remain following registration deadline.

Arts in Education opportunities will be posted here in July 2017 for August – May, 2017-18. Schools and organizations may request Artist in Residency opportunities here.

Summer Arts Programs

We sponsor two weeks of Kids Arts Camp each June at area schools for grades K-6, and a two-week Theatre Camp in July. YMCA Summer Fun Campers come to The Arts Center each week for classes in art and drama.
