Arts Education for All

AACA provides performances, workshops, and artist residencies to area youth at little to no cost to schools or families—some occur at The Arts Center and some happen at local schools. AACA also offers ongoing, tuition-based extracurricular arts opportunities and some free workshops. Please scroll to learn more about our arts education offerings and how to register. Arts Education Field Trip Opportunities:

Travel expenses for AACA programs – or admission to any eligible arts and cultural activity – may be funded by Tennessee Arts Commission’s Student Ticket Subsidy. Applications open August 9 and funds are limitedapply now.

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis for Athens City and McMinn County schools and resident homeschools. We will open registration to schools outside McMinn County and private schools if spots remain following registration deadline. Submit an interest form online and AACA will confirm your registration within ten (10) business days. Interactive Field Trip Reimagines recycling with AACA and Keep McMinn Beautiful. Register by September 24.

The Revelers help students explore Louisiana culture and learn musical styles at this concert. Register by November 30.
