Who is Harold Arlen? Author of over 400 songs dating from 1924 – including “It’s Only a Paper Moon”, “Stormy Weather,” the entire score of The Wizard of Oz, including “Over the Rainbow”, the scores of St. Louis Woman, Cabin in the Sky, A Star is Born, and so many more. Arlen is one of the greatest song writers of all time.
Who are Kelle Jolly & Will Boyd? Kelle is a premier interpreter of the greatest jazz songs and styles of any era. Her infectious stage presence and unique style is evocative of Sarah Vaughn or Oleta Adams. Kelle can surprise with anything from passionate ethno-rhythmic scat singing to whistle tones to comedy. Her husband Will is an erudite multi-wind instrumentalist, also an in-demand performer. Together with their band they will bring you an unforgettable evening of beautiful music in our intimate, black box setting.
