Explore various hand building techniques such as coil, pinch, slab, and press molding, to produce both playful and functional pieces of art. Bring in found materials and tools to create one-of- a-kind textures, carvings, and shapes. The possibilities are endless! Examples of projects: lidded pots, animals, figures, buildings, dinosaur fossils, ceramic jewelry, pots of all shapes and sizes. All projects will be fired and glazed at the end of class.
